The location itself was stunning and fantastic to Riverside. The staff were great and easy to talk to. Overall experience was fantastic!

The location right by the river was absolutely perfect and close to both Jarnac, Cognac, and the Charente region.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was delicious, with ample options to choose from. the proximity to the river was a major selling point, as we enjoyed peaceful meals and beautiful views in the garden area. being able to use the kayaks provided added an extra element of fun to our stay.

The property was advertised as having a restaurant, which was not the case. the location was quite remote, with limited dining options nearby.

While the room was great overall, the only thing we didn't love was the lack of storage space for our belongings. But hey, it's just a small inconvenience, and others might not mind it at all.

The room was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a nice shower. I loved the seating area, perfect for relaxing after a long day. And the garden view? It was absolutely stunning, like a breath of fresh air. As a laid-back traveler, this room ticked all the boxes for me.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the garden view. But hey, that's just my taste.

the riverside retreat in jarnac was an absolute gem. from the friendly hosts to the cozy rooms and delicious breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. the view of the river from our bedroom was breathtaking, and being able to use the kayaks was a great bonus. we loved the character and ambience of this place.

I had a great time grilling and enjoying the river view. I even tried fishing and canoeing, super fun! The shared lounge was cozy, and I had enough space to relax and read in the library. And thank goodness for the free private parking, saved me from walking!
